Machine Learning Engineer (LLM)

Machine Learning Engineer - Quantum + AI - hybrid from Zaragoza - contract (9 months with possible extention)

We’re seeking a Mid or Senior ML Engineer to push the boundaries of Large Language Models and quantum-inspired AI. If you love designing, fine-tuning, and optimizing cutting-edge models and turning them into real-world products

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and optimize LLMs using quantum-inspired techniques.
• Fine-tune models for accuracy, efficiency, and robustness.
• Benchmark, evaluate, and improve model performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge across the team.
• Stay ahead of AI trends and emerging LLM technologies.

You Bring:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in AI, CS, Data Science, or related field.
• 2+ years (Mid) / 5+ years (Senior) hands-on experience with transformers & deep learning.
• Strong Python skills and expertise with HuggingFace, PyTorch, and AI deployment.
• Solid understanding of deep learning theory, GPU architectures, and cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Bonus Points: HPC experience, RAG systems, computer vision/audio applications, AI ethics, or MLOps know-how.
