Job Summary

Waldevar Energy is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Front-End Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the user-facing components of our cutting-edge energy management platforms. You will work closely with our UI/UX designers, product managers, and back-end engineers to translate complex data into intuitive, high-performance, and visually appealing interfaces that our clients rely on to manage their energy assets.

As a senior member of the team, you will provide technical leadership, mentor junior developers, and champion best practices in front-end development to ensure we deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code that directly contributes to our mission.

Please note that this is a full-time, on-site role based in our Voluntari office. We believe that direct, in-person collaboration is key to our innovative culture and the rapid development of our complex energy platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality, user-facing features for our energy monitoring and management dashboards.
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes and mockups into responsive, interactive, and fully functional web pages.
• Create intuitive data visualizations and interactive charts to represent complex energy consumption and production data.
• Architect and implement robust client-side solutions, ensuring application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and back-end development, to define and ship new features.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in front-end development and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end web development.
• Expert proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript ( 6+).
• Deep expertise in at least one modern JavaScript framework/library such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Solid experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX, Vuex, Pinia).
• Strong understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and RESTful APIs.
• Proficient with front-end build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, Vite, npm, Yarn).
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js, Highcharts).
• Familiarity with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library).
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience with performance monitoring and optimization tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
