Role Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining modern automation tooling and processes. You will be responsible for managing clustered applications, building CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring infrastructure scalability, security, and performance. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration with project teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build code to provision the full stack from infrastructure through to application.
• Deploy, automate, maintain, and manage DevOps infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, scalability, and security.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for code promotion.
• Monitor systems and manage release deployments.
• Support development changes by providing accurate time and cost estimates, attending project meetings, and analyzing impact.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to meet operational requirements and implement changes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the DevOps infrastructure.
• Suggest architecture and process improvements.
• Evaluate new technologies and vendor products.
• Work with cloud technologies, migrate existing systems to the cloud, and automate processes.
• Automate build, integration, and test cycles related to products.
• Implement technical roadmaps to scale services and build new products.
• Advocate best engineering practices and security standards.
• Communicate complex information clearly and concisely to various audiences.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong background in Windows/Linux environments.
• Proficient in scripting (BASH/Shell).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Expertise in provisioning and configuration management (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
• Source control experience (Git, Bitbucket).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
• Knowledge of security best practices for data at rest and in transit using AWS tools.
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
