Job Overview
We are hiring for a Presales Engineer to be responsible for identifying and matching technology opportunities with customers’ business issues and objectives, as well as providing channel partner training and enablement. The ideal candidate will have solid sales engineering experience, will use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Will assist in developing business value propositions around networking products and solutions. Will drive sales with technical expertise, account management skills, sales ability, and a superior customer focus. Will participate as part of a sales Team to achieve or exceed revenue targets.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Providing presales technical support of the sales process across networking products and solutions.
- Cooperating with the sales Teams in assessing potential application of networking products to meet customer’s business needs.
- Conducting product demonstrations and technical presentations remotely, at customer locations or other suitable facilities on the products’ value proposition.
- Building complex, multi-product proof of concept solutions for customer evaluations as part of a sales engagement process.
- Leveraging product knowledge to provide technical networking expertise to internal sales Teams, partners and end users.
- Developing customer requirements that map networking solutions, assisting with overcoming technical and competitive objections, and accelerating technical evaluation component of sales cycle to close deals.
- Leveraging the consultative sales process to prospective users to determine product capability assessment and validation as it applies to the technical sales process.
- Working on issues that impact design/ selling success or address future concepts, products or technologies.
- Creating formal networks with key decision makers in assigned accounts.
Skills & Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science or related Engineering subject
- Minimum 3 years proven experience as Presales Engineer in networking products.
- Excellent presentation and demonstration skills and in workshop driven sessions.
- Proven self-starter with the ability to multitask and to set priorities under pressure.
- Client-focused attitude and a team player.
Remuneration
