HR Generalist


ManpowerGroup Turkey is seeking an HR Generalist for a well-established retail & textile client. This role will act as a key HR partner supporting both store operations and the head office. The position covers a comprehensive range of HR responsibilities, including recruitment, onboarding, training coordination, employee relations, performance processes, and timekeeping management with payroll input preparation.


Key Responsibilities


Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for store and head office roles (screening, interviews, assessments, offers).
  • Design and coordinate onboarding programs to ensure effective integration of new hires.
  • Maintain recruitment dashboards and deliver regular hiring performance reports.

Training & Development

  • Identify training needs in collaboration with store managers and department heads.
  • Support the planning and implementation of annual training calendars.
  • Track participation, feedback and effectiveness metrics.

Employee Relations & HR Operations

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee relations topics across stores and headquarters.
  • Provide guidance to managers on HR policies, procedures and best practices.
  • Conduct exit interviews and support retention and engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance in all HR processes.

Performance Management

  • Support the annual and mid-year performance review processes.
  • Coordinate goal-setting cycles, feedback meetings and follow-up actions.
  • Assist managers in performance-related documentation and improvement plans.

Timekeeping & Payroll Coordination

  • Oversee all timekeeping-related activities:
  • Verify attendance, overtime, leave, shift patterns and absence records,
  • Review and validate store managers’ submissions,
  • Identify inconsistencies and resolve discrepancies before payroll submission.
  • Prepare the complete payroll input file and share it with the outsourced payroll provider on schedule.
  • Monitor outsourced payroll processing, perform quality checks and coordinate any corrections.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare monthly HR reports (turnover, absenteeism, hiring metrics, training activity, headcount, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with labor law, SGK requirements and internal HR policies.
  • Maintain accurate, organized and confidential employee records.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Industrial Engineering or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HR roles; retail sector experience is a strong advantage.
  • Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in timekeeping management and payroll input preparation.
  • Strong understanding of core HR processes: recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training coordination and performance cycles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-location retail environment.
  • High level of accuracy, follow-up discipline and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • English proficiency is a plus.
