As an IT Security Engineer, you will be part of the global Information Systems Security team responsible for designing, delivering, and supporting security services across worldwide environment. You will collaborate with highly skilled IT professionals distributed across multiple regions, specializing in areas such as Endpoint Protection, Network Security, Remote Access Management, Vulnerability & Compliance Scanning, and Security Log Management.

Your role includes both operational support and technical consulting for various security infrastructure components deployed in on-premise and cloud environments.


Purpose

The Information Systems Security section designs, implements, and maintains the technologies that provide corporate security services. The team delivers advanced technical support and works closely with stakeholders to ensure secure, reliable, and compliant IT operations.


Scope of Work

You will design, implement, operate, and maintain security solutions with a focus on the following technologies:

  • Cisco ISE – deployment and maintenance (endpoint profiling, TrustSec configuration, 802.1x, MAC Authentication Bypass, Guest Portal)
  • Palo Alto Networks firewalls – deployment and support (Active/Active and Active/Passive)
  • (Nice to have) Knowledge of BGP, routers and switches (CCNA level)


Must-Have Requirements

Technical Skills

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and supporting:
  • Cisco ISE
  • Palo Alto firewalls
  • Network Access Control solutions
  • Solid networking fundamentals and troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of security concepts, standards, and best practices
  • Experience working in validated or regulated environments
  • Practical, operational experience with security technologies and infrastructure components
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work proactively in a multinational, multicultural environment
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Strong spoken and written English

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Programming or automation skills: Python, Perl, Ruby, PowerShell
  • Experience with DevOps/Agile tools and methodologies: Jenkins, Ansible, Git, GitLab, Terraform
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks
