Job Title: Engineering Manager


Start Date: February 2026

Location: Oslo, Norway

Duration: Minimum 1 year, with likely extension


A global leader in carbon capture solutions, this organisation supports a range of carbon-emitting industries including cement, hydrogen, waste-to-energy and gas-to-power. Through ongoing projects and strategic development, they are working to reduce industrial environmental impact and accelerate the transition toward a cleaner future. With rapid growth in CCUS demand internationally, they are well-positioned as one of the most knowledgeable and experienced players across the full carbon capture value chain.


They currently have several active projects ranging from research and pilot testing, to early-phase concept studies, through to major EPC project delivery across Europe and North America. Multiple capture units are currently being delivered across various regions with a combined capacity of approximately 1 million tonnes of CO₂.


What will you be doing


  • Manage all engineering activities and technical deliverables within assigned projects
  • Control project work scope and evaluate change impacts and man-hour variations
  • Provide engineering support to the Project Manager including planning, scheduling and team allocation
  • Ensure company standards, procedures and best-practice engineering methods are applied
  • Ensure HSSE and sustainability requirements are embedded in all engineering output
  • Maintain quality, correctness and timely execution of engineering tasks
  • Manage interfaces between engineering and other internal functions, plus suppliers and client stakeholders
  • Facilitate timely communication and cooperation across workstreams
  • Represent engineering in technical engagement with clients and vendors
  • Apply lessons learned from previous projects to improve future execution


Your qualifications


  • Strong knowledge of project execution principles
  • Strong technical capability paired with commercial awareness
  • Deep understanding of engineering discipline work activities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • At least 5 years’ experience as an Engineering Manager
  • Or minimum 10 years working within multidiscipline engineering teams with external stakeholder coordination
  • Proactive approach, self-driven
  • Collaborative team mentality
  • Focused, delivery-minded and solution-oriented
  • Open and willing to share knowledge
