Role: Frontend Developer-(React, Next)

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada (Hybrid)-3 Days onsite

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented React.js & Next.js Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building high-performance, SEO-friendly, and scalable web applications using modern frontend technologies. You will collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop dynamic and responsive user interfaces using React.js and Next.js.
• Implement server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and API routes in Next.js.
• Build reusable components and frontend architecture using modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and SEO.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate designs into high-quality code.
• Manage state using tools like Redux, Zustand, Context API, or similar libraries.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code with unit tests using Jest or React Testing Library.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams for sprint planning, daily standups, and issue tracking.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance or functional issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in frontend development.
• Strong expertise in React.js (hooks, lifecycle, state management, routing).
• Hands-on experience with Next.js — SSR, SSG, ISR, and API routes.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git/GitHub.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization, SEO best practices, and accessibility.
