Location: 450 1st Street SW Calgary Alberta (Hybrid)
Contract Length : 01/05/2026 to 12/31/2026
Description:
As an Enterprise Security Compliance Specialist, you’ll help augment a high-performing team dedicated to safeguarding TC Energy’s operations. You’ll collaborate with security, IS, and business teams to strengthen our compliance capabilities and drive continuous improvement.

Your work will directly contribute to maintaining TC Energy’s reputation for safety and reliability. By enabling robust cybersecurity compliance, you’ll help ensure our operations remain secure, resilient, and aligned with industry standards.
What you’ll do
Compliance Evaluation:
• Assess and report on cybersecurity compliance across TC Energy
• Conduct internal cybersecurity audits
• Evaluate security controls for design and operating effectiveness
• Lead compliance attestation processes by assessing requirements against business portfolios and integrating conformance data from security tools
• Manage non-conformance by triaging new issues, coordinating follow-up for updates, and validating remediation actions prior to closure
Process Improvement & Automation:
• Drive automation of security controls with a focus on continuous monitoring
• Develop scripts to automate manual tasks and processes
• Enhance ServiceNow GRC Compliance features, including integration with Governance and Risk areas and management of non-conformances
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, Computer Engineering or a technical diploma in a related discipline is a requirement
• A minimum of four or more (4+) years of Cybersecurity or related IT analytical experience is a requirement
• Demonstrated understanding of business processes, risk management, cybersecurity controls and related standards
• Familiar with TCP/IP, WAN/LAN concepts, operating systems, and firewall security policies
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience and understanding of cyber regulatory standards and requirements
• Demonstrated ability creating and updating security controls for compliance requirements
• Experience managing a Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) tool
• ICS/SCADA experience would be an asset
• Demonstrated experience evaluating cloud security posture by assessing adherence to secure configuration best practices
• Ability to present ideas and results to technical and non-technical audiences in both verbal and written communications
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to multi-task
