This role sits within a national technology team responsible for building secure, scalable platforms for mission critical systems.

About The Role:

The DevOps Platform Engineer is responsible for designing, building and maintaining highly reliable, secure and scalable platforms that enable modern software delivery. You will work closely with development, operations and security teams to ensure environments are automated, resilient and aligned to best practice. The role has a strong focus on infrastructure-as-code, automation and CI/CD engineering.

About The Work:

• Design, implement and support scalable, secure platforms for software development and deployment
• Develop infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated software delivery
• Implement and support container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Apply security best practices across infrastructure and platform components

About You

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation)
• Solid background with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, CircleCI, etc.)
• Knowledge of monitoring/logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)
• Strong scripting ability (Python, Bash or PowerShell)

Additional Requirements

• Must be an Australian Citizen with an active NV1 security clearance
• Must be able to work onsite 5 days per week
