Business Intelligence Analyst | 3 Months

You'll be joining Redland City Council, an organisation committed to delivering innovative and efficient services to the community. The BI and Data Analytics team plays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the council, ensuring strategic outcomes are supported by robust and reliable insights.


Your new role

• Analysing enterprise data environments, identifying gaps, and defining future-state capabilities.
• Designing and implementing a scalable cloud-based data warehouse and modern data platform.
• Integrating data from systems such as Property Rating and Finance One applications.
• Building and maintaining robust ETL/ELT pipelines for trusted, timely datasets.
• Developing dimensional/star-schema models and high-quality SQL transformation logic.
• Creating consolidated CIA data models and dashboards, as well as XLOne reports and T-scripts.
• Coaching business users to safely adopt curated datasets and self-service analytics.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in one or more TechnologyOne CIA Modules (Customer Requests, Finance, Property & Rating, Corporate Performance Management, Supply Chain).
• Strong skills in TechnologyOne CIA Analytics, XLONE Reporting, and Power BI solutions.
• Expertise in data architecture, data modelling, and practical experience in data warehouse design principles.
• Hands-on experience with DocOne, BPA, ETL processes, and relational database methodologies.
• Solid knowledge of dimensional modelling (star/snowflake schemas) and SQL development (Oracle SQL or Transact SQL).
• Ability to work collaboratively with business analysts and IT professionals, with well-developed communication skills.
