Back-End Development Internship (Unpaid | Remote or Hybrid)

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Back-End Development Intern to join our engineering team. While this internship is unpaid, it provides a strong opportunity to grow your technical skills, work alongside experienced developers, and explore possibilities for long-term collaboration within the company.

What You’ll Do

As a Back-End Development Intern, you’ll help build, enhance, and maintain scalable backend services. Your responsibilities may include developing RESTful APIs, integrating with external services like Stripe, managing background processes, and contributing to distributed systems using tools like NATS. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundational skill set and a passion for learning modern backend technologies.


Required Skills
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API development
  • Proficiency in Golang
  • Experience working with the Echo framework
  • Solid SQL knowledge and experience with PostgreSQL
  • Familiarity with sqlc for type-safe database queries
  • Experience with logging and telemetry tools such as Zerolog and OpenTelemetry
  • Understanding of caching using Valkey
  • Basic exposure to NATS (used for email-related messaging only)
  • Experience integrating payment systems (e.g., Stripe)
  • Understanding of Docker and containerized development
  • Awareness of web application security best practices


Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • Exposure to AWS, GCP, or other cloud providers
  • Understanding of message brokers beyond NATS
  • Experience with unit and integration testing in Go
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture
