Senior Front-End Developer (TypeScript)

Upright’s platform powers decision-making for 1,000+ institutional investment organizations and corporations across Europe and North America. Our Platform Team develops and maintains both customer-facing features and internal tools that ensure seamless data insights for our users.

As a senior front-end developer, you’ll play a key role in building intuitive and high-performing user interfaces, implementing new features, enhancing existing functionality, and helping improve our front-end architecture. Your specific responsibilities will be tailored during the recruitment process to align with your background, skill level, and personal interests, ensuring a role that suits your strengths and ambitions.

Signs of being a great match for this role include:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in software development, including at least 1 year with TypeScript
• Proven track record of developing modern front-end applications with React and related technologies
• Strong understanding of web technology design principles and responsive UI/UX best practices
• Understanding of the whole software lifecycle, including design, development, deployment, and operations
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team that includes technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Solid track record of internal passion for excellence: you have gotten things done clearly better than what was required/expected from you, as you enjoy doing things well
  
  
  

Additionally, we value the following qualifications:

• Proficiency in designing user interfaces and creating excellent user experiences
• Experience developing data-intensive or analytics-focused software products
• Familiarity with Node.js, PostgreSQL, Docker, and AWS services
• Experience with Python programming (including common numerical libraries)
