Full Stack JavaScript Developer

Location: Munich (80% Remote)

Our client is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to join its cloud services group. This role involves building high-quality web applications with a focus on frontend development, while also supporting backend APIs and cloud-based deployments. You'll be involved across the full development lifecycle - from architecture to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build scalable, user-friendly web apps using JavaScript and modern frameworks.
• Develop responsive UIs with strong UX and accessibility standards.
• Support backend API development with Node.js and MongoDB.
• Deploy and manage services in Kubernetes environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on planning and delivery.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and uphold code quality.
• Apply secure coding practices and document technical solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to regular team discussions.

Requirements:

• Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of full stack development, with strong frontend focus.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with: React, Redux, Webpack, Node.js, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD tools.
• Skilled in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiar with continuous integration and release practices.
• Strong problem solver, able to work independently.
• Clear communicator across technical and non-technical teams.
• Eager to learn and adopt new technologies.
• Comfortable in agile, collaborative environments.
