Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) is at the center of Microsoft’s cloud strategy. We are looking for a software engineer with a track record of delivering distributed cloud services and passion for solving hard problems. Our culture is inclusive, casual, and high energy; our engineers come from diverse backgrounds, are passionate and grounded in our customer needs.

Responsibilities
We are looking for a software engineer with a track record of delivering distributed cloud services and passion for solving hard problems. Our culture is inclusive, casual, and high energy; our engineers come from diverse backgrounds, are passionate and grounded in our customer needs.
- Build and evolve a hyper-scale distributed service.
- Participate in all stages of services lifecycle.
- Dive deep into global-scale service issues and drive improvements to resiliency, latency, and product reliability.
- Improvements the quality and stability of service fundamentals.
- Demonstrate strong customer empathy, curiosity and willingness to question and learn, and participation in live site on-call rotation.
Required:
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience, using one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, C#, Python, JavaScript.
- Ability to work as part of geo-distributed group.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, Math or relevant engineering field Nice-To-Have (Not Required).
- Experience in running a highly distributed system.
