Are you passionate about turning data into actionable insights? As a Data Analyst at Landal, you will drive data-driven decision-making by analyzing, designing, and delivering insights through advanced Business Intelligence tools, including dashboards and reporting solutions.
In this pivotal role, you will act as a bridge between business and IT, translating business needs into effective BI solutions using a variety of analysis and reporting tools. You will work closely with key stakeholders to understand and leverage Landal’s datasets, establish standards and templates, and promote best practices across the organization.
You will also identify opportunities for new insights through collaborative, project-based work with the business, helping to enhance data-informed decision-making across the company. This role combines hands-on development with advisory responsibilities, offering a dynamic and impactful position within Landal.
As a Data Analyst you will be part of a growing team of 11, including other Business Analysts as well as Data Engineering, BI DevOps and Data Scientist colleagues. Our Data & Enterprise Architecture team is at the heart of driving business transformation through data and technology. You will be reporting into the Director Data & Enterprise Architecture.

As a Data Analyst at Landal, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business and IT, helping our organization make data-informed decisions at both strategic and tactical levels.
In This Role, You Will
- Refine user stories for insights and reports needed by Landal Business Users, including the Board of Directors and departmental management;
- Design and deliver reports and dashboards using advanced tools, following the team’s agile methodology;
- Advise Business Users on how to interpret and make the most of analytical tools and results;
- Promote and explain dashboards and BI solutions to Business Users and Key Users;
- Introduce and maintain templates and standards for Landal’s reporting and analytics environment;
- Identify and explore opportunities for new insights;
- Contribute to the optimal setup, efficient use, and continuous development of our data and analytics environment;
- Serve as a bridge between IT and the business to develop and implement innovative solutions.
Your work location is our new office on Wibautstraat in Amsterdam. Of course, working from home is possible, but it is desirable that you work from the office at least 3 days a week.
For this position, we can only consider applicants who are already residing in the Netherlands and hold a valid work permit.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Business Information Management, Engineering, or a related discipline;
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience as a Data Analyst or Analytics Engineer;
- Ideally you have some understanding of AI applied analytics, such as Databricks Genie;
- Proven experience in querying, analyzing, and managing large datasets;
- Advanced proficiency in BI and analytics tools such as Power BI, DBT, Databricks, Power Apps, or similar;
- Strong experience in dashboard development and data visualization, with understanding of data relationships;
- SQL proficiency and experience with Data Modeling (Kimball) and Semantic Models;
- Hands-on experience creating comprehensive business reports and interactive dashboards; Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical BI solutions;
- Analytical skills for interpreting critical and complex data sets.

- An annual contract with a trial period of one month, whereby we would of course ultimately be happy to employ you permanently.
- A salary between €4.253,- and €6.076,- gross per month on a full-time basis*.
- A bonus scheme.
- 27 days' holiday for a full-time working week* with the option to purchase 10 additional days off.

- Working from home allowance of €2,40 per home working day.
- A travel allowance in accordance with the Landal travel allowance scheme based on €0,23 cents per km. If you decide to travel by public transport, your travel costs will be 100% reimbursed.

- Participation in the Recreation pension fund. The standard retirement date in this scheme is 67 years. The premium for this old-age pension is 21.8% of the pension basis, with Landal and you each paying half.

- A full-time employment contract at Landal has a 38-hour working week, which is equivalent to a 5-day working week. If you have a part-time employment contract, your salary and vacation days are calculated pro rata.
