>> ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a full-time, mid- to senior-level recruiter who will help us grow our team. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to offer acceptance. You will be working closely with the founder of multiple companies and his closest partners/employees.
Talent Acquisition & Sourcing
- Proactively source and headhunt high-quality candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct market research to identify talent pools and competitive hiring strategies.
- Create and manage compelling job posts across all relevant channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Študentski servis, niche communities).
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of top-tier talent for future hiring needs.
Screening & Selection
- Review applications, screen CVs, and identify A-players who match role requirements and company culture.
- Conduct phone screens, structured interviews, and competency-based assessments.
- Organize and facilitate interview rounds, ensuring smooth scheduling and communication.
- Take and organize comprehensive notes from interviews for transparent decision-making.
- Include hiring managers or team leads in the selection process and guide them toward effective hiring decisions.
- Design and improve test assignments to evaluate candidate skills fairly and accurately.
- Continuously refine and improve the interviewing and selection process based on chosen methodologies.
Hiring Process Ownership
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job posting to offer acceptance.
- Maintain accurate candidate records inside the ATS/CRM.
- Coordinate and prepare employment contracts.
- Support decision-making by sharing insights, candidate evaluations, and hiring recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with hiring policies, GDPR, and relevant employment laws.
- Provide an excellent candidate experience with clear, timely communication throughout the process.
Onboarding & Internal Coordination
- Lead the onboarding process for new employees to ensure a smooth and positive start.
- Support department leaders and supervisors in onboarding their new team members.
- Collaborate closely with different teams to understand hiring needs and future workforce planning.
HR Support & Continuous Improvement
- Help internal teams with urgent HR-related tasks when needed.
- Create hiring scoreboards and success metrics for each role to define what a successful hire looks like.
- Analyze recruitment data and report key hiring KPIs, process bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
- Continuously optimize hiring processes, tools, and workflows to increase speed, quality, and efficiency.
- Strengthen employer branding through active communication, job ad optimization, and community engagement.
>> REQUIREMENTS
Essential:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) and Slovenian
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and wearing multiple hats
- Ability to adapt to changes and desire to constantly learn new skills
- Strong communicator who can easily talk to different people
- Tech-savvy enough to automate processes and learn new systems quickly
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently without constant oversight
- You must be available most of the time during the day
- A lot of drive, energy and time
- Ability to work from our office in Ljubljana city center
Bonus Points:
- Previously working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience building teams from scratch
