Location: Barcelona, Spain — Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality features and components using React.
- Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Collaborate closely with the Lead Frontend Engineer, backend engineers, designers, and product partners.
- Participate in code reviews and help define frontend best practices.
- Contribute to the full frontend development lifecycle, from technical design through deployment.
- Ensure accessibility, performance, and reliability across the UI.

- 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
- Expert knowledge of modern ReactJS, including React Hooks and React 18 features.
- Strong command of HTML best practices, including semantic markup and accessibility.
- Deep expertise in CSS, including vanilla CSS and scalable CSS methodologies.
- Proficiency with modern tooling: Webpack, Babel, NPM/Yarn.
- Strong experience using Git and GitHub-based workflows.
- Experience with CSS-in-JS libraries (e.g., styled-components, Emotion).
- Experience building and maintaining component libraries or design systems.
- Familiarity with Storybook for component-driven documentation.
- Knowledge of or experience with microfrontend architectures.
- AI Tooling Proficiency: Use AI tools to optimize workflows (e.g., code generation, analysis, testing). Ability to propose effective AI use cases for improving development efficiency.
- Experience optimizing frontend performance for large-scale applications.
- Familiarity with accessibility automation tools or testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, RTL, Cypress).
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Contributions to open-source libraries or UI tooling.
This role follows a hybrid model based in Barcelona, Spain, with 3 days per week onsite and 2 days remote.
