The responsibilities of a Senior Scrum Master include leading a SCRUM team (Developers and QA developers). Will plan and lead the software engineering projects working closely with senior leadership, product owners and other business stakeholders.
If you’ll join our team, you will be challenged to:
- Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective meetings.
- Coach team members in Agile frameworks.
- Forecast the numbers of deliverables possible in an iteration.
- Help the team to remove impediments.
- Manage the scrum process with the coordination of the scrum team in Agile methodology.
- Monitor the scrum processes and meetings.
- Encourage changes that increase the productivity of the Scrum Team.
- Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work.
- Leverage organizational resources to improve capacity for project work.
- Ensure a good relationship between the team and product owner as well as others outside the team.
To perform in this role, we would like you to have:
- Least 5 years of previous experience as a Scrum Master.
- Degree in Computer Science or relevant experience.
- Team leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to lead by serving your team, removing obstacles, and enabling progress.
- Capability to facilitate clear and effective communication within your team and with stakeholders.
- Aptitude to quickly identify and solve problems that arise during a project.
- Skill to guide the team to reach consensus and make decisions, rather than dictating them.
- Deep understanding of Scrum principles, values, and practices, as well as industry knowledge.
- Understanding of relational databases and very good knowledge of OOP principles and design patterns.
- To operate in a highly iterative Agile (Scrum) development environment and deliver significant functionality every week.
