Job Title: Senior Software Quality Engineer Location: Vienna, Austria 

Job Summary:

Join us in an exciting opportunity as a Senior Software Quality Engineer, where you will become an integral part of an extraordinary team of engineers dedicated to shaping the future of software at Ketryx. In this dynamic role, you will contribute to a small, highly motivated team, actively steering projects to successful completion. Your expertise will play a critical role in crafting meticulous test cases, devising comprehensive test plans, and implementing test automation using cutting-edge tools such as Playwright, Cucumber, and Jest.

In this role, your responsibilities include managing and monitoring bugs and enhancements through platforms like Jira, ensuring efficient communication and resolution. As part of this role, you'll also conduct ad-hoc and exploratory tests to uncover potential vulnerabilities and refine product quality. Additionally, you'll be tasked with measuring and reporting test coverage across various dimensions, contributing tot he ongoing enhancement of QA processes and documentation. This hybrid role requires at least three days per week on-site in Vienna. Ideally you will be currently located in Vienna or able to relocate quickly. Unfortunately, we are unable to support non-EU citizens for the position at this time. 

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of industry experience (or equivalent) as a software tester for web platforms


• Prior experience with JavaScript or TypeScript 


• Prior experience with automation tools such as Playwright or Cypress

Ideal Skills:

• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes


• Prior experience with test case management tools (ALM)


• Prior experience with BDD, ideally with Cucumber


• Prior experience in a regulated industry

Compensation:

For Austrian employees, we are offering an attractive compensation package. The anticipated gross annual salary starts at €85,000 plus performance-based bonus and will be adjusted according to your qualifications and experience.
