Software Engineer

We are looking for a software engineer to join a scale-up!

Working with an Oslo SaaS Scale-up, founded in 2019, to provide a modern solution for the automotive industry - a unified payments platform. Founded by an entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the consumer automotive industry, he has a very strong knowledge of its challenges.

Having taken on over 200 new dealership customers, they are looking for a senior, backend-heavy developer skilled with Python (Django or FastAPI), Typescript, React & Azure.

The ideal candidate will take ownership of backend (Python) tasks, with some contribution to frontend (React) - a backend-heavy full-stack developer.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Work with infrastructure and databases to ensure performance and reliability.
• Contribute across the stack (Python/Typescript, Kubernetes).
• Collaborate with partners (e.g., financial institutions, dealership management system companies).
• Work in an agile team that values ownership, trust, and collaboration.

What we're looking for:

• 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Strong backend expertise (Ideally FastAPI or Django).
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure and databases.
• Proven track record in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• A startup mindset - adaptable, resourceful, and proactive.
