The role

We are now looking for a product manager to lead the community data product team, a growing group of highly driven individuals creating products around data. The primary responsibility in the job is making sure that the Product is going in the right direction, that the team is working on meaningful things and that the business becomes a success. This is a new team we are establishing, very close to our core strategy, and thus a crucial position for our future success.

What will you be doing as a product manager?

• Interact with customers, prospects, and external stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of their needs to define the right problems to solve
• Curiously learn about new trends and competition in the market
• Use all the above information and your own expertise to build a product vision and strategy and drive this product to success
• Prioritize development and plan and deliver your roadmap with the development team; own your domain with the team from research, discovery, design, development to maintenance and communication
• Lead one of Sievo's product development teams, utilizing your leadership skills (while not necessarily being the manager of (all) the team members)
• Ensure that your development team has the customer and business context needed
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to create go-to-market plans and strategies to build the business
• Work in a quickly evolving field, where understanding the big picture from the noise is needed
• Report to Sievo’s VP of Product Management.

To succeed in this role, you have:

• Relevant experience in product management, ideally in B2B SaaS
• Experience in data analysis and statistics is preferred, but not a must
• A proven ability to lead teams and work cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment
• Excellent communication skills, and ability to turn complex problems into understandable messages that all parties from engineers to CEO understand. In other words, you can manage communications in a complicated domain with many stakeholders
• A passion for exploring customer problems and transforming them into valuable solutions. You are genuinely interested in understanding your customers and their needs
• Fluency in English
• You can dream big, build a vision for your product and build a bridge between now and the future
• You don’t need to be technical in this role, but interest and understanding of technology, data, and analytics and utilizing them to help our clients achieve what they need with our products is a must.
