The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting both blue-collar and white-collar employees by ensuring effective employee engagement, adherence to company policies, and smooth HR operations. This role involves handling disciplinary matters, overseeing employee welfare programs, managing administrative HR tasks, and acting as a central point of communication between employees and management. The HR Generalist will also support onboarding processes and maintain oversight of employee documentation, insurance coordination, and workplace compliance.
Key Responsibilities1. Employee Engagement & Relations- Lead engagement initiatives for blue-collar employees, fostering a positive work environment and strong team morale.
- Conduct monthly grievance meetings with blue-collar staff and address concerns promptly.
- Support engagement activities and morale-building initiatives for white-collar employees.
- Assist in creating and maintaining effective communication channels across the workforce.
- Handle disciplinary actions for blue-collar employees in accordance with company policies and labor regulations.
- Document all disciplinary cases and ensure follow-up on corrective actions.
- Conduct periodic camp inspections to ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and accommodation standards.
- Monitor and follow up on work-related incidents, ensuring proper reporting and closure of cases.
- Coordinate all insurance claims and approvals, ensuring timely submission and follow-up.
- Work closely with insurance providers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
- Manage internal communication and announcements to ensure employees are informed of policies, updates, and events.
- Regularly monitor and respond to HR department email, ensuring timely resolution of employee queries.
- Oversee passport control, including safekeeping, issuance tracking, and compliance with company protocols.
- Assist in planning and executing employee wellness initiatives focused on health, safety, and well-being.
- Support employees by addressing personal or workplace challenges and guiding them to appropriate resources.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring smooth integration and completion of HR formalities.
- Ensure proper maintenance of employee records and documentation in line with company policies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in HR operations or a generalist role, preferably in a blue-collar intensive environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive issues with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR-related systems is an advantage.
