Position: Senior Vice President, Offensive Cyber Security

Location: Dubai, UAE - Full time on site

Are you a cybersecurity leader with a passion for offensive security and ethical hacking? We are looking for a Senior Vice President, Offensive Cyber Security to lead the offensive security initiatives and Red Team at a leading bank in Dubai.

About the Role:

As the SVP of Offensive Cyber Security, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for:

• Conducting penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and Red Team exercises across complex IT systems.
• Enhancing the organization’s cybersecurity posture through advanced offensive strategies and ethical hacking practices.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure robust security across applications, infrastructure, and networks.
• Driving innovation, continuous improvement, and industry best practices within the Offensive Cyber Security function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of in-house and outsourced cybersecurity experts.
• Execute vulnerability scanning and penetration testing programs for IT assets.
• Provide expert guidance on security architecture, controls, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with IT, business teams, and external consultants.
• Drive performance through KPIs, continuous improvement initiatives, and innovation in offensive security.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal security standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years in technical security assessments, penetration testing, and Red Team operations in Banking or Big 4 consultancy.
• Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of offensive security tools and techniques.
• Deep understanding of network topologies, firewalls, and logical access controls.
• Experience with Wintel, Solaris, and Linux operating systems.
• Programming knowledge (ASP, PHP, C#, etc.) and Active Directory domain design.
• Identifying zero-day exploits and emerging threats.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership abilities; results-oriented with strong analytical skills.
