Overview

The Senior Project Manager leads the delivery of high-impact, cross-functional projects across the Lottery and iGaming business units. This role is responsible for managing complex initiatives with significant regulatory, technical, and commercial impact. The Senior Project Manager plays a critical role in shaping delivery standards, ensuring best practices across the project lifecycle, and mentoring junior Project Managers to maintain consistency and quality in execution.

The ideal candidate brings deep project delivery experience in regulated digital environments, strong governance discipline, and the ability to influence outcomes across diverse teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of large-scale, complex projects across Lottery, iGaming and shared services ensuring compliance with GCGRA, GLI, and internal governance frameworks.
  • Oversee cross-functional workstreams (Product, TechOps, Compliance, AML/RG, Payments, Marketing) to ensure alignment and smooth project execution.
  • Own project governance: RAID logs, CAB submissions, GCC approvals, business readiness, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Develop detailed project plans, delivery timelines, and reporting documents for Programme Manager and C-suite visibility.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritising based on commercial value, regulatory requirements, and operational readiness.
  • Mentor and support Project Managers through coaching, quality checks on documentation, and guidance on stakeholder management.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery frameworks, templates, and processes across the Commercial Projects & Delivery function.
  • Build and manage relationships with external vendors, platform providers, and regulatory partners to ensure timely delivery of dependencies.
  • Identify project risks early and implement proactive mitigation strategies, ensuring stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Ensure all delivery artefacts meet audit and regulatory standards, providing clear traceability for inspections or compliance reviews.

Qualifications, Experience & Required Skills

Must-Have

  • 5–7 years’ experience in project delivery, ideally within gaming, fintech, payments, or other regulated digital industries.
  • Proven experience leading multi-stream or cross-functional projects with material regulatory or commercial significance.
  • Strong understanding of delivery governance, risk management, and structured reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Demonstrated experience guiding or mentoring junior project managers or delivery staff.

Nice-to-Have

  • PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or PMBK certification.
  • Experience working with regulatory bodies (GCGRA, GLI, WLA) and understanding compliance-driven project constraints.
  • Background in iGaming or lottery product delivery, platform onboarding, or payment system integrations.
  • Degree in Business, Management, Technology, or related field.
