The Role

As a Junior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst, you will support the BI team in gathering, analysing, and reporting data to drive business decisions. Working closely with senior analysts and key stakeholders, you will transform raw data into actionable insights, maintain dashboards, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of business data.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop reports and dashboards that present complex data in a clear and meaningful way, aligned with business goals.
• Maintain and update dashboards and recurring reports, ensuring consistency and accuracy of key performance metrics such as website traffic, GMV, and inventory levels.
• Build and maintain data pipelines integrating multiple sources (e.g. web analytics, CRM, inventory, and marketing platforms) to ensure a reliable, unified data environment.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis for cross-functional teams (Merchandising, Planning, Leadership) and deliver insights on areas such as bestsellers, underperforming products, returns, and category performance.
• Write, optimise, and review SQL queries; perform data quality checks and troubleshoot reporting issues to ensure data integrity.
• Analyse datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Create engaging visualisations and presentations for both senior management and operational teams.
• Streamline reporting processes through automation, scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support data governance by managing user access, maintaining dashboard structures, and ensuring compliance with internal data security standards.

What you’ll bring

• 3–5 years’ experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (BigQuery preferred), Excel/Google Sheets, and Tableau or similar BI tools.
• Working knowledge of Python or another programming language for data manipulation and automation.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud tools and related technologies.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience within e-commerce or fashion retail environments.
• Exposure to AI automation projects and emerging data analytics technologies.
• Understanding of statistical analysis and A/B testing methodologies.
