Senior Scrum Master/PM with strong Banking Domain

Iris's direct client, one of the Top 5 Bank in Canada, is looking to hire a Sr Scrum Master/Project Manager for a long-term opportunity.

Bank is serving individual consumers, small and middle market businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk-management products and services.

Job Title: Senior Scrum Master / Project Manager

Duration: Contract to hire

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid- 4 days onsite/Week)

Domain: Banking

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as Scrum Master for Agile teams, facilitating ceremonies and removing impediments.
• Serve as Project Manager to develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
• Choose and implement appropriate delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) based on project needs.
• Utilize tools such as Confluence and Jira to manage documentation and track progress.
• Drive team alignment and accountability, ensuring milestones are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to manage scope, risks, and expectations.
• Support change management and communication strategies throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in project management and Agile delivery.
• Strong understanding of banking and financial services domain.
• Experience with Confluence, Jira, and other project management tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
