Lockheed Martin is seeking a skilled Network Engineer with a Secret security clearance and a DoD 8570 compliant certification. to work from our beautiful Colorado Springs location.

THE WORK
Lockheed Martin is seeking a skilled Network Engineer with a Secret security clearance and a DoD 8570 compliant certification. to work from our beautiful Colorado Springs location.
As a Network Engineer You Will
- Support the operation and maintenance of the network communications systems.
- Maintain operations of multi-user networks, virtual computer systems, network performance, and network administration tasks.
- Assist with the network design of new capabilities.
- Perform network documentation updates and sponsor peer reviews.
- Record problem statements and create appropriate reports.
- Maintain an operational baseline, perform intermittent patching, troubleshoot network issues as they arise, and provide system test support.
- Responsible for recording, prioritizing, and working network discrepancies on the system.

- Demonstrated ability to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with team members
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience with Red Hat or Linux based operating systems
- Must be a quick learner capable of absorbing technical material and operations information
- Ability to work with a diverse group of engineers and technicians. Must be prompt and reliable.
- Excellent communications skills and ability to interact positively with the customer
- Experience configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls
