Position: Contract Manager

Location: Kyiv / Odesa region, Ukraine (hybrid)

Work format: Full-time / Employment Agreement

We have a great career opportunity for a Contract Manager in an international leading renewable energy company with a representative office in Kyiv.

Our Partner initiates, plans and builds wind and solar projects worldwide. The Company is an independent power producer (IPP) that executes large-scale international projects as a general contractor and takes over technical and commercial management as an asset manager. In addition, our Partner has a technological competence and develops AI solutions for renewable energies.

We are currently looking for a skilled specialist who will be responsible for the end-to-end contracting lifecycle for the wind farm EPC scope – from tendering to contract administration, claims, and close-out – ensuring compliance with FIDIC and Ukrainian law, and driving delivery on safety, quality, schedule, and cost.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Tendering & Procurement

- Lead RFQ/RFP processes for EPC, subcontractors and auxiliary packages (design, supply, services); manage Q&A, clarifications, evaluations, and award recommendations

- Negotiate commercial / contractual terms; coordinate with engineering, HSE, legal, planning, and finance

2. Contract Administration

- Serve as single point of contact for EPC contract(s) and other construction related contracts: invoices, notices, submittals, guarantees/insurances, programme, progress measurement, payment certification

- Manage Variation Orders, claims / defences, EOTs, and dispute prevention / resolution

- Maintain contract risk register (legal, regulatory, grid-code, customs / logistics, force majeure); ensure compliance with Grid Code, DBN / PUE, and IFI safeguards

- Coordinate interfaces with TSO, WTG OEM, BoP contractors, Owner’s Engineer, and lenders (e.g., EBRD)

Qualifications and professional experience:

• 5 years of contract management for large infrastructure / energy; wind farm experience across development and construction preferred
• Familiarity with FIDIC / EPC environments and Ukrainian construction norms and grid-code basics
• Clear communication in Ukrainian & English (German is a plus)
• Exposure to EBRD / IFI procedures is a plus
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
