As a Web Analytics & Insights Manager, you will make our customers’ behaviour measurable and tangible. Through precise tracking and in-depth analysis, you will provide crucial insights that help us to understand our customers and their needs even better and implement targeted optimisations. You will derive data-based recommendations for action that will significantly advance our digital processes and customer experience.
Your challenge
- Technical responsibility, support and further development of all web tracking (especially Google Analytics) in cooperation with our web development agency
- Analysis of user behaviour, marketing measures and customer journeys
- Planning, implementation and evaluation of A/B tests to optimise performance
- Developing and creating reports and interactive dashboards for various stakeholders
- Establishment of analysis and monitoring processes, including KPI alerts
- Identification of trends and optimisation potential based on competition and market analyses
- Continuous expansion of the analysis infrastructure and integration of new data sources
- Co-design and participation in ongoing e-commerce and web shop projects
What is important to us
- Completed degree in a relevant field such as business informatics, business administration, digital marketing or data science
- At least 2 years of experience in comparable roles such as business analyst, web analyst or in digital marketing, ideally in the e-commerce environment
- In-depth experience with common analysis tools (Google Analytics, Power BI, Hotjar), tracking technologies (Google Tag Manager) and A/B testing platforms (e.g. Kameleoon)
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking as well as technical affinity
- Understanding of e-commerce mechanisms and online customer experiences (e.g. conversion funnels, factors influencing purchasing decisions)
- Good knowledge English (B2+)
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
Will be a plus:
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript or SQL
- Some knowledge of German
