Summary:
Client is looking for a Data Analyst to help maximize the value of digital platform. Client is focused on accelerating services and parts growth by providing digital solutions through data analytics, innovation and customer-focused solutions. This role is a technical resource to support data pipeline and data flows in and around Helios warehouse.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Understand the existing data flows / pipelines with Helios warehouse
  • Absorb the domain knowledge behind the datasets in Helios warehouse
  • Triage data gaps / bugs in production with required details towards fix
  • Replay the data pipeline / upload missing data to fix the data gap identified
  • Apply the code fix needed to ensure data integrity within Helios warehouse
  • Validate the data post the fix, to ensure that it is now as expected
  • Work with other departments to identify the right team to apply the fix
  • Work with other departments to absorb knowledge about new pipelines / flow
  • Follow established business rules for the use of an application or process.
  • Represent the application or process with other areas of the business who use or integrate with this part of the business.
  • Seek input from relevant areas of the business that should have inputs to this application or process.
  • Understanding, evaluating and reacting to routine problems or situations with external contacts is also part of this assignment.
  • Interaction is within the framework of existing business policies and practices and/or established business relationships.
  • Problems and issues usually involve careful interpretation, analysis or diagnosis.
  • Identify the nature of a complex or undefined problem and then develop the best solution or application from numerous alternatives.
 
Basic Qualifications:
  • Requires a college or university degree, technical certification or equivalent experience.
  • 3 or more years of experience working in data pipeline related technologies or data validations
  • Interpersonal skills to deal with sensitive, emotional or potentially controversial situations.
  • This position should be familiar with data management of an application overall
 
Technical Qualifications:
  • Core Skills on programming languages (SQL; Python)
  • Fundamental practical knowledge on AWS services, like s3; Sagemaker; RDS; Kinesis; DynamoDB; Lamda
  • Fundamental practical knowledge on Snowflake and its properties
  • Ability to understand and analyses end-to-end data flow and pipeline
  • Familiar with database concepts
