Senior Golang Backend Engineer – Exciting NEW FDI

The Role:
This position is ideal for experienced Golang engineers who enjoys building highly performant backend services in a modern cloud environment. You will lead technical initiatives, drive architectural decisions, and help shape a platform designed to handle large-scale automation workloads used across major enterprise systems. 
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services built in Go. 
• Lead internal and customer-facing engineering projects, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
• Own backend architecture, contributing to decisions that enhance reliability, maintainability, and long-term scalability. 
• Identify performance bottlenecks, analyse system metrics, and continuously optimise backend systems.
• Provide mentorship and promote engineering best practices across the team. 
Essential Criteria:
• 6-10+ years of professional software engineering experience. 
• Ideally 3+ years of production-level Golang development 
• Experience working with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and containerised environments such as Docker/Kubernetes. 
• Strong understanding of backend security, distributed systems, scalability patterns, and performance optimisation.
