Law Enforcement / National Security experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and interpret business needs through workshops, interviews, discovery sessions, and document analysis, and synthesize them into formal documentation (e.g., BRDs, user stories, use cases).
- Collaborate with clients to understand workflows, case processes, requirements, and operational challenges. Conduct 'As-Is' process analysis and define the desired 'To-Be' future state using process mapping methodologies.
- Translate operational requirements into clear, actionable business requirements and technical specifications. Collaborate with the Sales and Client Services team to develop Statements of Work (SOWs), solution proposals, and implementation roadmaps based on documented requirements.
- Work with Product and Engineering to design, refine, and deliver technology solutions that improve operational effectiveness. Serve as the voice of the customer (VOC) to Product and Engineering, validating prototypes and ensuring delivered solutions meet the business requirements.
- Support project lifecycle activities, including solution design, implementation, configuration, testing, and validation. Design and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, managing client sign-off for solution delivery and Go-Live.
- Conduct data analysis and identify insights, patterns, or risk areas that inform operational decision-making.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership.
You have:
- Experience in Law Enforcement, policing, or security operations (UK or international LEA experience highly desirable).
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills.
- Proven ability to document requirements, business processes, and system specifications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with business process modeling tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of project management principles.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
