The role

We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer who wants to work across a modern stack and have a real say in how systems are designed, built, and improved. You’ll work on our Gen2 trading and risk systems, refining and extending the platform that powers our institutional trading business.

This role gives you genuine ownership: end-to-end features, direct access to the trading and product teams, and the ability to influence architecture and engineering practices as we move towards 24/7 operations. We also use AI-native tooling across the team, so if you enjoy using LLMs to accelerate development or streamline workflows, you’ll fit right in.

What you’ll do

• Build full-stack features that traders, operations, and clients actually rely on.
• Write clean, efficient code across Python, Javascript, or TypeScript.
• Develop fast, reliable front-end interfaces (React or similar) with strong attention to UX and performance.
• Build backend services and APIs that are robust, secure, and scalable.
• Improve the stability and performance of core systems as the business grows.
• Work closely with trading, product, and SRE to deliver roadmap initiatives quickly and safely.
• Take part in design sessions, architectural discussions, and code reviews.
• Help strengthen our engineering standards — CI/CD, observability, documentation, testing.
• Use AI tools (Claude Code or similar) to support development and speed up repetitive tasks where appropriate.

What you’ll bring

• Around 5+ years' full-stack engineering experience, ideally in high-availability or product-focused environments.
• Strong capability across front end (React or similar) and back end (Python, Javascript, TypeScript).
• Experience building scalable, reliable, API-driven services.
• Strong capability using AI-native development tools (LLM coding assistants, generation frameworks, automated testing tools).
• Proficiency with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code for day-to-day development workflows.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD automation, including setting up and maintaining GitHub Actions pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure fundamentals on GCP and/or AWS (compute, storage, IAM, networking basics).
• Ability to design smart workflows and small automations using AI to improve engineering efficiency.
• Good engineering fundamentals: testing, maintainability, performance, and clean design patterns.
• Strong problem-solving skills and genuine curiosity.
• Clear communication and the ability to work effectively with distributed teams.
• Interest or experience — personally or professionally — in digital assets or blockchain

Bonus points

• Experience with trading systems or financial workflows.
• Familiarity with data pipelines or real-time systems.
• Experience with Django or Fast API.
• Interest in shaping AI-assisted engineering workflows.
