Network Implementation Architect

Duration: quarterly renewable- long duration B2B contract

Work setup: Hybrid Brussels- minimum 50% on-site

Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned, hands-on Network Infrastructure Architect to design and implement modern network infrastructure as part of our ongoing transformation.

This is a hands-on build role, design and deliver cloud-ready, secure, and scalable solutions, including SD-WAN and SASE, supporting on-premises DCs to cloud migration.

Key Task and Responsibilities

• Design and implement modern, secure, scalable, and resilient network infrastructure across on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments, supporting both mission-critical and non-mission-critical systems.
• Lead the network components of on-premises to cloud migration projects.
• Deliver and deploy SD-WAN (Cisco) and SASE (Palo Alto) solutions.
• Collaborate with the Network Architects to develop HLDs and LLDs based on existing conceptual designs, executing design and implementation activities in close collaboration with RUN teams to ensure adherence to established architectural and operational principles, frameworks, and business objectives.
• Implement automation and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Ansible, or Python.
• Develop configuration templates, deployment plans, and technical documentation to support transition to operations.

Job Requirements

Technical Competencies and Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in network infrastructure design and implementation.
• Proven success delivering on-premises to cloud migrations and multi-cloud connectivity projects.
• Demonstrated experience in routing, switching, VPNs, load balancing, network security and cloud networking (Azure/AWS).
• Practical experience with automation tools and network deployment frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You are fluent in English ensuring communication and collaboration skills to work transversely with cross functional teams

Level of Education

• University degree of 4 years in a relevant domain (e.g. Computer Science, Information Technology).

Professional Certifications and trainings

• Routing & Switching: CCNP Enterprise Infrastructure or CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure (plus).
• Network Security: CCNP Security or equivalent certification.
• Cloud networking: Azure Network Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred), AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, or equivalent.
• Automation: Cisco DevNet Professional or equivalent.
• Willing to obtain required internal certifications during onboarding.
