Data analyst R, PowerBI, IFRS17 accounting (Freelance possible)

Tasks and responsibilities

Our client built a tool to compute and produce IFRS17 accounting closings. This tool was developed with the following technologies

• SQL
• R
• Power BI
• Azure Cloud
  
  
  

There are numerous requirements to improve and augment this tool in 2026, which will require additional developers in the team.

Mission of the job

The developer will first Acquire the knowledge on the modules of the tool. Then he/she will integrate the development team to increase the workforce and act in the developments foreseen in 2026, under the supervision of the lead developer.

Job Description

Assignment:

• Develop improvements or changes in various modules of the IFRS17 solution (actuarial, IFRS17 modelling, accounting postings and consolidated reporting).
• Implement unit and integration tests of these developments.
• Keep contact with the analyst who wrote the data requirements.
• Execute the developments in test environment and analyse the result data.
  
  
  

Profile of the possible candidates:

• Owner of an IT and/or data university degree
• Experienced data developer in complex business, preferably in finance and/or risk
• Knowledge and experience with R and SQL mandatory.
• Autonomous: you can take full responsibility of modifying or appending developments in an existing tool, in a tight planning.
• Proficient in English (all the project and communications are in English).
• Experience in any regulatory reporting streams such IFRS17 is a plus.
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud is a plus.
• Knowledge of MS DevOps is a plus.
• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory is a plus.
