Senior Payroll Specialist – Finland

Salary: €53,000–€60,000

What you bring

• Solid experience in Finnish payroll—end-to-end, in-house, and confidently so
• Strong understanding of payroll best practices
• Comfort working with tools like SAP and advanced Excel/Google Sheets
• A naturally analytical mindset and a calm, practical approach to solving problems
• Ability to thrive in an international, fast-moving environment
• A personal drive to streamline, optimise, and automate wherever you can
• Ability to work independently and asynchronously when needed
• Fluent English skills
• Remote experience isn’t required, but it’s a nice bonus

What you’ll be doing

• Acting as the subject matter expert for Finland
• Managing relationships with colleagues across payroll implementation, finance, product, and engineering
• Running full end-to-end payroll: data collection, processing, statutory reporting, approvals, payments, compliance
• Protecting data integrity and quality—all day, every day
• Handling payroll accounting and reconciliations
• Keeping an eye on KPIs and SLAs, making sure nothing slips
• Spotting opportunities to improve processes and helping bring them to life
• Acting as a mentor and support partner to other payroll specialists
• Stepping in to support regional managers when needed
