Director of Software Engineering

We are working with an Irish owned tech business who are currently looking for Director to head up their Software Engineering team. The successful candidate will lead the engineering arm of the business, drive technical strategy and ensure the delivery of reliable, scalable software aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Set technical direction and engineering strategy.
• Lead, mentor, and grow engineering teams.
• Oversee architecture, code quality, and system reliability.
• Ensure high-quality project delivery.
• Improve development processes and operational efficiency.
• Partner with Product and other stakeholders on roadmap execution.

You will have:

• 10+ years in software engineering, 5+ in leadership/management roles.
• Experience leading multi-team or multi-project engineering groups.
• Strong technical foundation in modern software architectures and practices.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
