Lead Product Manager – Technical (Systems Analyst Focus)
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Contract: 12 months, potential extension
Hybrid: 3 days onsite (Mon, Tues, Thurs preferred)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to join a high-performing team developing advanced solutions to combat financial crime. You will collaborate with business, architecture, and engineering stakeholders to define requirements, create a clear and prioritised backlog, and support end-to-end delivery across the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Gather and analyse complex business and technical requirements.
• Translate requirements into features, user stories, and a prioritised backlog.
• Run backlog refinement sessions and monitor feature implementation.
• Act as the bridge between business owners, architects, and development teams.
• Support software design discussions and provide technical consulting during implementations.
• Assist with escalations as a subject matter expert.
• Review test plans to ensure alignment with acceptance criteria.
• Document and support audit controls and PCI-related requirements.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and impacts of new work.
Required Experience
• 5+ years as a Systems Analyst or similar technical role.
• Strong analytical skills with proven experience gathering and interpreting requirements.
• Solid understanding of system and architectural concepts.
• Strong technical capability and ability to interpret complex information.
• Experience with Agile, SAFe, and Scrum environments.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Rally, or ADO.
• Good understanding of database design and SQL.
• Experience designing and testing APIs (JSON/XML, Postman).
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently under pressure with high attention to detail.
Highly Advantageous Skills
• Understanding of Java, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (PCF/AWS/Azure), microservices, and data structures.
• Experience with data extraction and analysis.
Interview Process
Two stages: initial screening followed by a technical interview.
