PFH Technology are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our growing team.

Contract length: rolling 12 months

Location: Remote, with ad-hoc onsite requirements for meetings

Start Date: Immediate


Responsibilities

The principal duties of the Senior Project Manager include but are not limited to:


· Provide overall Project Management by working with the Senior Project Managers and Architects to ensure successful delivery and rollout.

· Assist Programme Manager in the delivery of the specific project and act as a trusted advisor.

· Manage relationships with delivery and Service teams, and other key stakeholders including vendors.

· Ensure production of supporting documentation aligning with existing standards.

· Ensure production of supporting handover documentation to operational teams aligning with existing standards.

· Assist with assessing technical feasibility of potential data sources.

· Engage Subject Matter Experts and other technical teams on the management and resolution of data quality issues.

· Provide information to management in a timely manner, preparing regular status reports on the progress of delivery of the specific project.

· Prepare clear concise, accurate reports backed up by sufficient reliable documentary evidence.

· Demonstrate that projects are being managed to the agreed scope, budget and schedule

· Be accountable for the consistent application of project management quality standards as stipulated.

· Proactively maintain comprehensive, up-to-date project plans, status reports and project documentation in the tool(s) mandated.

· Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks and be able to demonstrate viable mitigation plans are in place.




Skills and Competencies

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate the following skills:

· Strong planning and organisational skills.

· Experience of managing digital healthcare projects to successful outcomes.

· Experience in MS Project, JIRA Discovery, and Confluence. Experience in Azure Dev Ops an advantage.

· Knowledge of healthcare integration and interoperability standards and protocols, including FHIR and OpenEHR.

· An understanding of:



o Cloud based technologies

o APIs

o Key processes involved in information and data security



· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

· The ability to present information clearly, concisely, and confidently when communicating with technical and non-technical colleagues.

· The ability to develop documents or artefacts in a clear and succinct manner.

· Excellent problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills: the ability to quickly grasp and understand complex issues and the impact on service delivery.

· The ability to gather and analyse information from relevant sources, weighing up a range of critical factors to integrate ideas into a common vision.

· Ability to work on own initiative.

· Flexibility, adaptability and openness to working effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.


Experience

· Must have a minimum of 5 years' work experience leading a team delivering complex, transformative digital healthcare initiatives involving innovation, change, and Improvement.

· Must have experience in managing multiple stakeholders, keeping them informed and up to date as appropriate.

· A level 8 qualification in Information technology or equivalent would be desirable.

· The successful candidate should hold an industry recognised project management certification, ideally PRINCE2; PRINCE2 Agile would be an advantage.

· Experience in technology infrastructure, particularly Cloud, would be an advantage.
