Market Back Officer – CDI

The Market Back Office is part of the Custody business activity of Nomura Bank (Luxembourg) S.A. This department process the booking and the settlement of all cash, security and derivatives instruments executed by NBL trading room as well as third party deals instructed by our clients within given cut-off times.

In order to support the department, we are looking for a Market Back Officer on a permanent contract.

Your main tasks will be to process accurately and timely any kind of financial transactions:

• Registration of cash instructions
• Prepare or release outbound money transfers
• Maintain up-to-date settlement instructions
• Perform reconciliations and justify any position break
• Follow up of cash pendings communications with operational stakeholders
• Complete and validate daily checklists
• Follow-up of Nostro outstanding Monthly reporting (KRI, KPI’s)
• Active participation to internal meetings
• Ensure internal procedures and user manuals are up to date.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Studies in Finance or Economics
• First experience with expertise in cash instructions
• Good knowledge of financial instruments and understanding of financial markets
• Very good level of English
• Good Knowledge of MS Office tools
• Knowledge SWIFT cash format
• Very good organisational skills – Manage priorities and respect of deadlines
