Are you a detail-oriented finance professional ready to join a prestigious family office with an international reach? Our client, a respected family office active in retail, real estate, private equity, and investment funds, is seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Accountant to strengthen their Luxembourg team.
Your Mission
As an integral part of the finance department, you will:
- Accurately process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments
- Maintain up-to-date and compliant financial records, monitoring vendor balances and resolving invoice discrepancies
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes by preparing reconciliations and assisting audits
- Enhance accounts payable workflows through collaboration with internal teams and external providers
- Communicate effectively across departments in Luxembourg and international offices
- Provide support for ad-hoc finance tasks and cover team members during peak periods or absences
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 to 5 years of solid experience in accounts payable or general accounting, preferably in an international environment
- Strong grasp of accounting fundamentals and Luxembourg GAAP; familiarity with IFRS is a plus
- Proficiency in invoice processing, payment cycles, and AP reconciliations
- Skilled in MS Office; exposure to Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP is advantageous
- Meticulous attention to detail, reliability, and excellent organizational skills
- Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate seamlessly with diverse stakeholders
- Analytical thinker with a knack for quick discrepancy resolution
