Join our team as we are looking for a System & Security Engineer to strengthen our “IT, Platform, Virtualization & Servers” division within the IT Production department. You will have the opportunity to develop your expertise in a dynamic and international environment, contributing to major projects and supporting our clients in their digital transformation. As a consultant, you will act as a technical and functional expert, while representing Amaris Consulting’s values and commitment to excellence to our clients. Your interpersonal skills and curiosity will be key to building strong relationships and delivering high-quality solutions across various sectors.

Job Description
Join our team as we are looking for a System & Security Engineer to strengthen our “IT, Platform, Virtualization & Servers” division within the IT Production department. You will have the opportunity to develop your expertise in a dynamic and international environment, contributing to major projects and supporting our clients in their digital transformation. As a consultant, you will act as a technical and functional expert, while representing Amaris Consulting’s values and commitment to excellence to our clients. Your interpersonal skills and curiosity will be key to building strong relationships and delivering high-quality solutions across various sectors.
Your missions
- Administer, maintain, and upgrade Antimalware / EDR platforms within the IT, Platform, Virtualization & Servers division
- Adjust exclusions, policies, and aggressiveness levels, including advanced features and AI
- Act as technical point of contact and subject-matter expert for System and Security teams on Antimalware / EDR topics
- Contribute to day-to-day activities such as incidents, changes, service requests, and division projects
- Handle Level 3 tickets and perform advanced troubleshooting (performance, application compatibility, OS, network)
- Coordinate with vendors and software providers, ensuring effective follow-up in English
- Perform technology watch on new EDR / endpoint security features and parameters to enhance security
- Continuously improve and increase reliability of systems through optimization, hardening, and automation
- Draft technical documentation and procedures, ensuring structured knowledge transfer to other teams
- Coordinate cross-team activities involving Windows, VMware, Security, and third-party applications
- Strong technical background in Systems (Windows / VMware / Linux) with a focus on Security
- Academic background: relevant degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Fluent English and French; Luxembourgish is a plus
- Experience with VMware, Cybersecurity, Windows Server, Troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Network Internet Protocol Suite (TCP/IP), Microsoft DNS Server is an asset
- Experience in critical environments (ideally banking or financial services) with high SLAs and strong quality-of-service requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, able to handle complex troubleshooting cases
- Autonomous in planning and managing workload, while being a strong team player
- Ability to coordinate activities across multiple teams (Systems, Security, Network, Applications)
- Comfortable working in critical, structured, and highly regulated environments
- Strong interest in technology watch related to cybersecurity, EDR, and endpoint security
