Responsibilities

• Pilot implementations of GenAI Platform capabilities such as Guardrails, Databricks Genie, and AI Observability for product team squads
• Explore new GenAI Platform functions, summarize findings, and suggest implementation patterns
• Create AI Blueprints, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) based on Databricks
• Collaborate closely with AI Solution Architects to align development with architectural standards
• Develop proofs of concept for backend and frontend components
• Utilize Databricks AI services and Azure to build scalable AI solutions
• Write and optimize Python and SQL code for AI data analytics
• Coordinate with frontend development using frameworks like Streamlit or React
• Test and validate AI models and platform features to ensure performance
• Document development processes and technical specifications
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Generative AI and AI engineering

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in Generative AI development
• Proficiency with Databricks, especially AI services
• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
• Experience with Python programming for AI and data analytics
• Working knowledge of SQL for data analytics and query optimization
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and platforms
• Ability to develop both backend and simple frontend solutions using frameworks like Streamlit or React
• Demonstrated ability to pilot AI platform capabilities and develop proofs of concept
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective collaboration and communication skills within cross-functional teams
• English language proficiency at B2 Upper-Intermediate level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with AI Observability tools and frameworks
• Knowledge of AI system guardrails and ethical AI implementation
• Familiarity with Databricks Genie platform features
• Certification in Azure AI or Data Engineering
• Experience creating AI Blueprints for complex AI systems
