We are expanding our Surveillance & Regulatory Technology area and are looking for an experienced Data Engineer who will work on solutions that strengthen Deutsche Bank’s fraud-prevention capabilities. You will contribute to data pipelines used in real-time and batch processing, supporting analytics, compliance and Machine Learning workloads.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance data pipelines used for fraud-prevention and regulatory systems
- Implement real-time and batch data processing flows, from simple migrations to complex feature engineering
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business stakeholders and Data Scientists to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Work with Data Architects and technical leads to design scalable pipelines
- Partner with Release Management and DevOps teams to ensure smooth production deployments
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
- 5+ years of experience with Python 3
- Strong SQL skills
- Hands-on experience with:
- Apache Airflow
- Apache Beam
- Data analysis/transformation libraries (Pandas, Polars etc.)
- Solid understanding of data engineering principles and best practices
- Experience integrating with APIs and filesystems
