Social is broken. The concept of connection has become almost abstract.
We’re building something different. Venga is a new kind of social platform. Think Spotify, but for your real-life plans w/ friends. A beautifully designed, fast, modern tool for bringing people together without the noise, doom-scroll feeds, or chaos.

We want to make it easy and fun to plan, invite, and get friends together in the same room.
We’re backed by leading Nordic VCs, entrepreneurs behind KING and Klarna, and our team includes builders from Spotify, Budbee (Instabee), Klarna, Qasa, and Truecaller. The foundation is already in place: real traction, a loved product, and the right timing.
Now we’re scaling - and we’re looking for someone who wants to build something iconic from the inside.
What you’ll do
- Work across the stack: TypeScript, Node.js, React, React Native
- Ship features used by tens of thousands (and soon millions)
- Own our core platform across Web, iOS, and Android
- Partner closely with design, product, and our CTO
- Influence architecture, scalability, and engineering culture
- Help us craft a tool people truly love to use
This is a role for someone who wants to be part of shaping the product, not just the code.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years with full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong backend fundamentals (Node.js, REST APIs, Postgres, queues/events)
- Strong frontend sense (React/React Native, UI/UX intuition)
- Experience in early-stage or fast-moving environments is beneficial
- A builder. Someone who cares about shipping, quality, and the people using the product.
