Product Manager Technology Consultant for a Swedish Premium Tobacco Company
About the Role:
We are looking for a Product Manager – Technology to support the Innovation & Product Development (I&PD) function within a leading organization in the oral products category. Due to internal transitions, the team requires an experienced consultant who can immediately take ownership of product development and improvement activities.
This assignment plays a critical role in ensuring continuity, delivery, and support for ongoing innovation and operational projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Product & Process Improvement (PPI) Initiatives
- Drive improvements in manufacturing processes and product compositions.
- Support technical teams in implementing product-related enhancements.
2. Product Development Stream Lead in Innovation Projects
- Lead the product development track within upstream innovation projects.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure technical readiness and alignment.
3. Support Establishing Ways of Working within Technical Product & Change Management
- Contribute to defining effective workflows and methodologies.
- Help strengthen collaboration and structure within the technical development function.
Qualifications:
Education
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, with a focus on product and process development.
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of oral product manufacturing processes, product compositions, and product portfolio structures.
- Understanding of workflows within large international organizations.
- Strong project management skills.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Personal Attributes:
- Professional, structured, and proactive.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Able to collaborate easily across different technical fields.
