Our client, an international retail company, is launching a strategic project to establish a new local distribution center in Turkey.
Description
- Lead the full implementation of the new distribution center, from initial planning to go-live.
- Develop and manage the project timeline, milestones, and deliverables.
- Work closely with global and local teams to ensure alignment across operations, supply chain, and IT.
- Support ERP-related processes and integrations; ensure operational readiness within the new system.
- Coordinate the transition from direct-to-store deliveries to the new distribution model.
- Conduct on-site follow-up during the physicall setup, testing phases, and operational rollout.
- Identify and manage project risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Prepare regular updates and reports for senior management.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience in supply chain operations, preferably within retail, FMCG, or pharmaceuticals.
- Prior involvement in establishing a warehouse or distribution center from scratch is essential.
- Experience working in international or global organizations.
- Solid understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Comfortable working independently in a hands-on, fast-moving project environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
