Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing first-level technical assistance to employees, ensuring smooth operation of all desktops, laptops, networks, and software systems. You will handle troubleshooting, user account setup, Microsoft 365 support, and basic network configurations.
Role Requirements:
- Desktop & Laptop Troubleshooting (Windows / macOS)
- Networking (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, IP addressing)
- Microsoft 365 / Email Support
- Software Installation & Updates
- User Account Creation (Entra ID / AD)
- Antivirus & Security Tools
- Documentation & Reporting
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to employees
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems
- Support Microsoft 365, email, Teams, and user accounts
- Assist with onboarding (device setup, account creation)
- Maintain IT inventory (devices, accessories, licenses)
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as needed
- Configure printers, scanners, and shared network devices
- Monitor system performance and report irregularities
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft 365, or ITIL will be considered an advantage
