The Product Analyst – Search & Merch will measure and optimize how customers find and engage with products. You will analyze search queries, CTRs, product placements, and recommendations to improve visibility, accuracy, and conversion.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor search and merchandising KPIs (CTR, zero-results rate, add-to-cart, etc.).
  • Analyze search behavior, query performance, and ranking outcomes.
  • Identify improvement areas for recommendation engines and filters.
  • Collaborate with Product & Tech to refine search algorithms and personalization logic.
  • Evaluate impact of visual merchandising and homepage curation on engagement.
  • Build dashboards tracking keyword trends, placement effectiveness, and category mix.
  • Partner with business and UX teams to design experiments improving discoverability.
  • Strong grasp of ecommerce search optimization principles.
  • Understanding of merchandising logic, taxonomy, and product tagging.
  • Ability to translate data into design and content recommendations.
