The Product Analyst – Search & Merch will measure and optimize how customers find and engage with products. You will analyze search queries, CTRs, product placements, and recommendations to improve visibility, accuracy, and conversion.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor search and merchandising KPIs (CTR, zero-results rate, add-to-cart, etc.).
- Analyze search behavior, query performance, and ranking outcomes.
- Identify improvement areas for recommendation engines and filters.
- Collaborate with Product & Tech to refine search algorithms and personalization logic.
- Evaluate impact of visual merchandising and homepage curation on engagement.
- Build dashboards tracking keyword trends, placement effectiveness, and category mix.
- Partner with business and UX teams to design experiments improving discoverability.
- Strong grasp of ecommerce search optimization principles.
- Understanding of merchandising logic, taxonomy, and product tagging.
- Ability to translate data into design and content recommendations.
